UC Clermont @ Kent State-Tuscarawas Men’s Basketball Game Recap

     NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio- UC Clermont beat Kent State-Tuscarawas by a score of 92-77 on Saturday. The Cougars got off to a hot start and led 52-36 at halftime.

 

     Marlin Lyons shot 10-12 and had 26 points off of the bench for UC Clermont. Greg Marsh had 19 points, 8 assists, and 5 steals. John Aicholtz added 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Josh Baker had 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. The Cougars were rolling offensively, shooting 56.5% from the field as a team.

 

     DeJuan Lawrence had a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds for the Golden Eagles. Arthur Jackson shot 7-11 from the field and had 17 points to go along with 6 rebounds. London Cobbs had 13 points, while DJ Haggins added 10. The Golden Eagles shot 43.1% from the field as a team.

 

     Kent State-Tuscarawas drops to 1-2 and will be home against Bryant & Stratton-Cleveland on Wednesday at 6 p.m. UC Clermont improves to 4-3 and will be home against Trinity International University on Monday at 6 p.m.
