MIDDLETOWN, Ohio- The UC Clermont Lady Cougars win their second game in a row with a 65-36 victory over Miami Middletown on Wednesday. The Lady Cougars led just 23-22 at halftime but blew the game wide open in the second half. Clermont went on to out score the ThunderHawks 26-8 in the third quarter and 16-6 in the fourth quarter.
Tamira Scott finished with 24 points, 6 steals, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds. McKaila Hatton knocked down four triples while finishing with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals. Lucy Rosen had 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Keara Brooks had a near double-double with 8 points, 15 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Octavia Kelch finished with 6 rebounds and 2 steals.
Taryn Dewberry finished with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Amani Mansoor had 12 points and 3 boards. Sam Bean had a team-high 4 assists to go along with 6 points and 5 rebounds. Myiah Morris had a team-high 8 rebounds.
UC Clermont improves to 9-10 overall and will host Andrews University on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Miami Middletown falls to 5-9 overall and will host Andrews University on Friday at 12 p.m.
