BATAVIA, Ohio- The UC Clermont Lady Cougars won their third game in a row with a 102-42 victory over Andrews University on Saturday night. The Lady Cougars jumped out to a dominant 34-5 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back.
McKaila Hatton knocked down nine triples while finishing with 30 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Lucy Rosen made four triples while finishing with 26 points, 8 rebounds, 7 steals, and 4 assists. Tamira Scott made three triples while finishing with 23 points, 6 assists, 4 steals, and 3 rebounds. Keara Brooks had a team-high 13 rebounds with 6 assists while Bryana Price gave the Lady Cougars 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals off of the bench.
Jia En Ke finished with 12 points and 3 rebounds. Junia Alce had 8 points, a team-high 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. Aleah Crayton connected on two triples while finishing with 8 points off of the bench. India Deal finished with 7 rebounds and 3 assists off of the bench. Gabrielle Roper had a team-high 3 steals.
The Lady Cougars shot 52.6% from the field and 66.7% from three. They out rebounded the Cardinals 44-25 and had 40 assists as a team.
UC Clermont improves to 10-10 overall and will travel to play Miami Hamilton on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Andrews University falls to 1-19 overall and will host Great Lakes Christian College on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
