UC Clermont guts out tenth win of season over Campbellsville Somerset

UC Clermont Cougars were trying to notch their tenth win of the season but Campbellsville Somerset had other ideas. The Tigers built an early 30-11 lead and looked like they were well on their way to getting their fourth win of the season but the Cougars clawed their way back into it.

UCC cut into that lead thanks to great play off the bench by Clay Spivey and great defense by David Hunter. The Cougars went on a 32-9 run before the half to cut the deficit to 43-39.

Led by great second half defense by English Dowery and David Hunter and better shooting the Cougars finally took their first lead of the game on a big three by Noah Pedelty to go up 73-70.

UCC ending up pulling away for their tenth straight win to improve 10-1 with a 87-80 win. Noah Pedelty lead the Cougars with 24 pts, 6 Rebs and 5 steals, followed by Kort Justice with 18 pts, Greg Marsh 14pts, 6 steals and John Aicholtz with10 pts and 6 rebs,  David Hunter led team in Rebounds with 11 and had six steals.

Cougars stay at home for back to back games taking on Miami Middletown and Clark State on 12/17 and 12/18
