UC Clermont @ Clark State Men’s Basketball Game Recap

     SPRINGFIELD, Ohio- UC Clermont beat Clark State in an 88-87 nail-biter win on Saturday. The Cougars led 41-40 at halftime and the second half continued that back-and-forth trend.

     John Aicholtz led UC Clermont with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Greg Marsh connected on two 3-pointers and had 20 points to go along with 6 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. Marlin Lyons added 16 points and 14 rebounds off of the bench. David Hunter had 5 steals to go along with his 8 points and 9 rebounds for the Cougars.

     UC Clermont shot 47.7% from the field and grabbed 43 rebounds as a team. The Cougars improve to 6-4 and will be home against Campbellsville University-Somerset on Thursday at 6 p.m. Clark State falls to 0-7 and will look to pick up their first win of the season on the road against Kent State Tuscarawas on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
