UC Clermont @ Campbellsville University Harrodsburg Men’s Basketball Game Recap

     HARRODSBURG, Kentucky- UC Clermont fell to Campbellsville University Harrodsburg by a score of 98-75 on Saturday. The Pioneers opened up a 21-point halftime lead and kept momentum through the second half.

 

     Marlin Lyons went 9-for-10 from the field and scored 20 points off of the bench for the Cougars. Greg Marsh had 12 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals. John Aicholtz had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

 

     Chris Rawlins led the Pioneers with 27 points, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Kereion Douglas had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Antoine Darby stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds, and 7 steals.

 

     Campbellsville University Harrodsburg shot 57.5% from the field and 35.7% from three-point range as a team. UC Clermont shot 43.5% from the field and went 3-for-18 from the three-point line. The Cougars found rhythm offensively in the second half and put up 46 points, compared to their 29 first half points.

 

     UC Clermont falls to 2-3 and will be home to play Carlow University on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Campbellsville University Harrodsburg improves to 8-8 and will travel to take on Brescia on Thursday at 7 p.m.
