Little Miami @ Anderson Game Recap
CINCINNATI, Ohio: Griffin Scalf found Joey Faulkner in the endzone on a two-point conversion in overtime to give Anderson a dramatic 43-42 win over Little Miami on Friday night. Anderson held a 35-21 lead in the third quarter, but two touchdown runs by Ashton Middlekamp helped the Panthers force overtime.
Faulkner finished with 13 receptions for 223 yards and three touchdowns. Scalf passed for 410 yards and four touchdowns. Evan Upchurch had a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown. Brody Berg came up big defensively for the Raptors. He had two sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception.
Aidan Jones passed for 272 yards and three touchdowns for the Panthers. Middlekamp had 125 yards rushing and two rushing touchdowns, as well as a receiving touchdown. Brayden Bischoff had 99 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Marcus Jones had 12 tackles and Nick Greenwell had three sacks for Little Miami.
Anderson improves to 2-1 and will travel to play Kings on Friday at 7 p.m. Little Miami falls to 2-1 and will be at home to take on Walnut Hills at 7 p.m.
