HAMILTON, Ohio– The UC Clermont Cougars fell to the Miami Hamilton Harriers by a score of 85-62 on Tuesday night. The Cougars got out to a 33-30 halftime lead, but struggled in the second half. Miami Hamilton got hot offensively and out scored UC Clermont 55-29.
Kaleb Wanamaker connected on five triples while finishing with 31 points and 6 rebounds. Terrell Pollard scored 16 points with a team-high 8 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks. Aamir Rogers shot 6-for-8 from the field while finishing with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Shaeden Olden had 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Kenyon Gardner had 19 points and 4 rebounds. Robbie Johnson hit four three pointers while finishing with 12 points and 2 steals. AJ Austin Robinson gave the Cougars 11 points and a team-high 7 rebounds off of the bench. Caden Zeinner had a team-high 5 assists to go along with 4 rebounds.
Miami Hamilton shot 57.1% from the field and 42.1% from three. The Harriers won the rebound battle 35-27 and had 19 assists as a team. UC Clermont shot 42.4% from the field, 25% from three, and 85.7% from the free-throw line.
UC Clermont falls to 16-6 overall and will host Southeastern Illinois on Saturday at 5 p.m. Miami Hamilton improves to 11-10 overall and will host Miami Middletown on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
